Born on a rainy day in Clydebank in 1949 , Boyd McNicol managed to escape
to Glasgow where he attended Glasgow School of Art in 1967.
In 1972 he achieved a Diploma in Fine Art, the coveted D.A.
Boyd has exhibited his work in many mixed shows throughout Scotland
