Tom Mckendrick was born in Clydebank in 1948. Growing up in this
small but vibrant industrial town has had a marked
influence on my work and methodology.
The roots of his paintings and sculptures are firmly planted
in the processes of 'work'. It is the drive to 'make' that
interests my creative energies and a fascination in the
interaction between man, ideas and materials resulting in
large multi-media shows.
